Mineral bottom is a C license landing area. Tall canyon walls, shifting winds and a tight landing area are some of the reasons we have a 200 jump Minimum for this jump. As a licensed skydiver you solely are responsible for your own safety. Take the time to drive out to the landing area. Check it out on google maps. We recommending viewing it on your desktop and scoping things out in the 3D view. Look for your alternative landing areas and know what you are getting yourself into.

The LZ

The runway will be the primary landing zone for this jump. You should go look at it. Cross wind landings may be necessary. Be comfortable with this before you go.
You can also view the topographical map for the area by switching from satellite to topographical in the menu section of google maps when viewed on desktop.

Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

The shuttle

A shuttle will meet you up at the pickup area. The ride back to the airport is approximately one hour and water will be supplied. Please check in ground crew if you have arranged another ride so we know everyone is accounted for.
